The temperature dependent materials properties of Ti-6Al-4V corresponding to thermal conductivity, particular heat and density are used for performing the simulation. In the developed FE model, all the bodily phenomena corresponding to losses as a result of} conduction, convection and radiation are taken into account. It is noticed from the results that the titanium bike anticipated weld bead geometry with corresponding experimental outcomes and are found to be in good agreement. The welding torches for titanium welding come with such auxiliary attachments that allow trailing shielding. However, if the heat inputs are low , then trailing shielding is not required. The resolution to this is that the welder should not immediately withdraw the filler rod from the shielding envelope.
